QFT.

Sounds like he/she had a better than usual pvp experience if he/she just now ran into them. Rage quit and ignorance is one of the first skills most in pvp learn. Even if you only went with friends the entire time .. there is always one ass on the other team.

I just got my first fame after 30 months of play. We only went to HA because we couldn't get matched with a team for GvG.

HA and PvP in general has always been this way. It shouldn't take a PvE(mainly) player like me to tell you that.

She'll be back, I promise you. She'll just refuse to play with that person. Support her, talk to her, whatever.

To those saying grow thicker skin .. sorry but this is one of the worst pvp games I have played. If you acted the way many do in gw in a real pvp gaming league you would get a hardware ban .. where you could then act all leet by yourself since you couldn't play in league again. Before you go there .. I hit rank 10 long ago. Saw more than my fair share of retards in that time.

I used to think CAL/CPL and TWL etc were harsh on their policy till I played gw and saw the wild west version of pvp. Anet should make some kind of effort to clean up the mess they call pvp. Yes the /report was a start but they need to be a tad more proactive. Basic good sportsmanship should not only be expected .. but enforced when needed.

part of it is also taking criticism... I don't know the circumstances in this particular incident, but if she was doing something stupid and someone called her on it, well then that's just business... don't hate people for looking out for their interests.

I rarely play PvP, but just the other day I did a little RA just for fun.

After we won our first match on guy told our monk he had a crappy build and mapped out.

I can only imagine what would have been said had we lost..........

PvP players seam way to uptight, very little fun at all to play with.

Sadly, today she got stunded by her own friend, blaming, f words, all over the vent... she then decited to quit this game, she asked me just one question: why undead? why people in HA changed? why they have to be so mean to me? i dont know what should i answear her....
This was the story, very sad, but it is true. and from my personal experince, i have noticed this /rage, blaming, very inmature languages around HA lately as well. i mean, why do some people have to be a total jerk in this game? it is just a freaken game.... you dont have to yell at people in vent to release your angry, find a wall and knock your head on it already. i miss old days really, no blame no rage, people play togather happily, if lost, sure, lets go again. where have those days go? HA has been illness for awhile now, low rank or no rank people never get a group, if they ever do get a group, either running zergway or sway crap like that. how do they improve their game play skills by playing those lame builds over and over? sigh..... nothing i can really do, i rant too much today, i am sorry if this post hurt some of you, but i really do want to tell some truth of the current stats in HA
Alot of people tend to forget this is just a game. I have had alliance members lose it in the FoW and UW too, so it's not just confined to PvP. It always hurts more when it's your friend. I have many people tell me "You have the patience of a SAINT when you deal with some of the crap...if I had been the party leader, I would have flipped out". People need to keep in mind that this is only a game. You play this for enjoyment, not to make a living. If people are getting like angry-german-kid over losses and other random things, perhaps they need a good long break from GuildWars.

I notice certain things with veteran pvp'ers that I know. They can't accept the fact that there are new players that are better than them. All I hear from those with rank6+ are how it used to be so nice back in the day where most of the good pvp'ers knew each other, whos who and nub this, nub that.

To sum it up, with so many new players in pvp (anet made it more enticing than before) they pretty much cant steamroll through everything and a lot of them grew bitter and are more rage prone.

Secondly, I equally dislike those that casually play the game and assume people that worked on their goals for so long (a lot of people have 2+ years time spent on their account) should feel the same, that its only a game and it should all be candyland and cakes.

Anyone that worked hard on something will feel threatened and angry if trivial or underestimated factors contributes to their loss. This is frequently casual players that join the group, refuse to be competitive and play in a nonchalant way.

Face it, pvp, mmo and physical sports are pretty much alike. If you refuse to be a team player and endure rigorous practice to be competitive, don't burden a group of people that want to win hard because your stubborn and selfish ideals tell you that its only a game and you should have fun even at the expense of others.

Let her have some time away from the game. Talk to her on MSN, but not about GW. Get to know her outside of the game, and she'll come back eventually.

I should become a psychologist.

If she's REALLY your friend, I'm sure you can improve quality time and talk to her on MSN or something. Much better than repetitively grinding fame in HA, which you were doing till now.

- Yes, since the lower the rank the less people care about winning or running anything proper. With higher rank people don't develop any social skills but instead care about winning so much they rage on vent for every own death and delayed res.

What's with the font by the way?

How can you quit GW forever??

You payed 50 dollars (x3/4)

No subscription so you can come back whenever.

I "quit" for 3 months...came back...went okay.... quit 2 months later came back.

As long as I payed for the damn thing, Ill come back whenever I feel like it.

Tell her to join a new guild thingy then...and run off with her...and have kids!

you have to roll with the punches or find a new game, like me.. I have had enough of GW, time to start playing something new like everyone else, including IZZY and the rest of the Anet staff.

Not meaning to bash your friend, but how do you make it to r10 and not learn how to deal with these people? The fact is, there are a great many people in guild wars with a shitty attitude and 1 thread isn't going to make them any more bearable. If you can't ignore people who make it their mission to be complete assholes then the internet is not for you. I am honestly sorry that your friend was so affected by this but that's the way the world is, both online and in life.
